We operate under the #venture_building formula - we create projects based on experts' experience, including teams of programmers, designers, project managers, HR, administration, and marketing - ready to develop and support promising startups.


About this role

Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder is a venture capital fund and experienced venture builder. As part of venture capital projects, we invest up to EUR 1 million in pre-seed, seed, and series A rounds. As a venture builder, we co-create global technology businesses. We focus on investments in innovative industries and technologies of the future, offering much more than financing. 


We are looking for an Interim CEO who will be responsible for launching new projects and companies and their development at an early stage, as well as operational support for companies at later stages.


Your tasks

  • project and company management
  • preparation of projects from the conceptual phase to their launch
  • planning and development of processes launched in companies
  • preparation and development of business, market and financial analyzes
  • preparing business plans for existing projects, building development strategies and financial models
  • monitoring of portfolio companies and ongoing supervision over them
  • preparation of presentations and reports
  • recruiting key team members

Requirements

  • at least 5 years of management and managerial experience in startups (in software houses is welcome)
  • experience in running company operations and strategy execution
  • higher education with an economic, financial, or technical profile
  • experience in creating business plans and designing strategies
  • experience in process modeling
  • financial modeling skills
  • advanced and practical knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • analytical thinking and the ability to proactively solve problems
  • advanced command of the English language
  • experience in venture capital funds / incubators / accelerators and / or consulting companies is welcome
